Raised in North Mankato, Minnesota, Michael Kittelson’s journey as a financial advisor has been shaped by his Midwestern roots and a deep commitment to helping others achieve financial success. From the early days of kindergarten to his college years, Michael’s educational journey unfolded in the same community that he now serves.

In December of 2017, Michael achieved a significant milestone by earning the prestigious Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation, showcasing his dedication to upholding the highest standards in financial planning. With a solid educational foundation and a passion for helping others navigate their financial landscapes, Michael has accumulated an impressive 14 years of experience in the field.

Outside of the office, Michael finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. A loving husband to Rebecca for 16 years, Michael is also a devoted father to their three beautiful children. Their family is a blend of energy and laughter, with two boys and the youngest, a delightful daughter, completing their lively household. He loves spending quality time with his family, hitting the golf course, lacing up his running shoes, or simply enjoying the great outdoors. 

Michael was appointed to the Mankato Area Foundation Board of Directors in 2024.
