We use an online application system. We understand this may present a barrier to some applicants, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate needs on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out the MAF team at info@mankatoareafoundation.com or 507-389-4583 no later than one week before the application deadline, to discuss your specific circumstances. We cannot make accommodations after the application deadline.
In fairness to all applicants who submit their applications on time, our deadlines are firm.
Applications received after the deadline will not be considered except in the case of unforeseen technical difficulties beyond the applicant’s control. If you are experiencing technical issues, you please email info@mankatoareafoundation.com prior to the application deadline with the organization name and details of the technical issue.
You are able to apply for any of our available grants, if you meet the requirements. Organizations are not limited in the number of grant awards they are able to apply for annually.
Applications are NOT accepted for Donor Advised Funds.
If you are interested in applying for a grant from MAF, please submit an application in our Community Impact Grant.
Grant decisions are typically made within 60 days.
Typically, funds are distributed within a few weeks of grant approval. If you do not receive your funds within 30 days after being notified, please contact us!
Final reports are assigned in our software as soon as grants are awarded. Reports may be submitted any time after projects/programs are complete. Please log in to see the final date you need to have your report submitted by.
