Jennifer Pfeffer, a Licensed Health Service Executive, has 30 plus years of experience in healthcare administration in both acute and long term care services. She currently serves as the National Director of Operations for The Goodman Group within their Senior Living and Health Care division. In 2020, Jennifer was the recipient of the Leader of the Year award from LeadingAge Minnesota, an industry trade association. From 2006 – 2022, she was appointed by the Governor to serve on Minnesota Board of Executives for Long Term Services and Supports, holding the chair position for the last 6 years.
Jennifer has served on many community and state boards, including Greater Mankato Growth, YMCA (past chair), Mayo Mankato Community Health Engagement Committee, Mankato Rotary (past chair), South Central Workforce Council, and Leading Age MN. She was the 2012 Mankato YWCA Women of Distinction Award recipient.
She holds a BS degree in Public Health and a MS degree in Continuing Studies with an emphasis in Gerontology from Minnesota State University/Mankato.
Jennifer resides in Mankato MN with her husband, David who is a home-building contractor. They have two adult sons and 5 grandchildren. In her spare time, she runs, reads and travels.
Jennifer was appointed to the Mankato Area Foundation Board of Directors in 2019. She currently serves as the chair of the Strategy and Governance committee.
