AmyJo Lennartson is the Community Impact Director for the Mankato Area Foundation.

AmyJo spent 15 years with the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) – first as the statewide program director in St. Paul, and, after a move to Mankato with her family, she started the regional chapter for MCN in Southern Minnesota. She has also worked in public affairs with Mayo Clinic and in communications at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

She has worked and volunteered with communities across Southern Minnesota to help support their goals and is passionate about connecting organizations to resources that can help them make a meaningful impact.

AmyJo has a Public Affairs Leadership Certificate from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and an undergraduate degree from Minnesota State Mankato. She is also an alumnus of the Blandin Community Leadership Program and the Blandin Leadership in Ethnically Diverse Communities Program.

She and her spouse, Eric, have college-age twins and live in Mankato.
