This session will review what it means to be a board member in today’s world and cover the three primary legal duties of nonprofit boards. We’ll also discuss civility codes, neutrality pledges and conflict of interest policies and how everyone can “stay in their lane” while creating a culture focused on advancing the mission of the organization.
Presenter: Kim Snyder, Founder, Excelsior Bay Group
