Amanda Heilman is the Director of Business Services at Mankato Area Public Schools. Prior to that, she served as Director of Finance at Owatonna Public schools, and as a school district auditor at CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA). Amanda was born and raised in Southern Iowa, and has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Saint Mary’s University.

Amanda currently serves on the Region V Computer Services Board and the PMA MN Trust board. She is also actively involved in the Minnesota Association of School Business Officials. Amanda and her husband, Jim, have lived in Mankato with their two children since 2014.

Amanda was appointed to the Mankato Area Foundation Board of Directors in 2023.
