Amy spent 15 years with the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) – first as the statewide program director in St. Paul, and, after a move to Mankato with her family, she started the regional chapter for MCN in Southern Minnesota.

She has worked in public affairs with Mayo Clinic, in communications at Minnesota State University, Mankato, and in rural Minnesota as part of a joint-powers organization working to make land use changes that improve water quality. She loves connecting organizations with ideas, people, and resources that help advance the greater good. 

Amy has a Public Affairs Leadership Certificate from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and an undergrad degree from Minnesota State Mankato. She is also an alumnus of the Blandin Community Leadership Program and the Blandin Leadership in Ethnically Diverse Communities Program.
