Tim Huebsch is Founder & Principal of Fieldstone Advisory, a strategic governance advisory firm focused on board effectiveness, transitions and long-term fiduciary stewardship.  A recipient of the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal “Forty Under 40” award, Tim served nearly 25 years leading global, cross-functional teams at General Mills across Information Technology, Supply Chain, Finance and Digital Marketing. Tim holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, a Bachelors of Science in Management Information Systems from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and is a past Humphrey Policy Fellow from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.   

Tim is actively involved in both the Twin Cities and Mankato communities through volunteerism, board service, and investing in early-stage companies as an angel investor.  Tim currently serves on the Guthrie Theater Board, is a Trustee of the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities system, and is an Emeritus Board Member for the Minnesota State University, Mankato Foundation where he is a past Board Chair/President.

Tim was appointed to the Mankato Area Foundation Board of Directors in 2022. He currently serves as Vice Chair and is a member of the Investment and Strategy and Governance committees.
